The story of how you fell in love, made into a film.
Three to five minutes, told by the people who were there. We interview the two of you and up to eight more: parents, best friends, the ones who saw it happen, and turn everything they remember into a film.
- 3–5 min
- The finished film
- 10 voices
- The two of you and up to eight more
- 1–2 weeks
- To collect the story
- 3–5 days
- To make the film
How it works.
Four steps, and there is always a human with you the whole way.
We gather the story
You tell us who to interview, up to ten people in total, including the two of you. Everyone gets their own interview, in their own words, in their own time. We also ask for photos: the bad early ones, the ones nobody has seen, the ones you keep on the fridge.
We create the storyboard
The interviews become one story. You get the storyboard in the app: scene by scene, so you can see what the film would look like. Here you can share your feedback, and we are happy to steer in the particular direction you prefer.
You love it, or you tell us what to change
Fix a name, cut a moment, ask for more of the first trip and less of the proposal. Leave your notes on the storyboard and we take the story where you want it.
We make the film
Three to five minutes, yours to keep and to show. Play it at the wedding, send it to the ten people who made it, or keep it between you.
You read the story before it becomes a film.
The storyboard arrives in the app scene by scene. You comment where something is wrong, ask for what is missing, and approve when it sounds like the two of you. No surprises at the end.
- Comment on any scene, in your own words
- Add a photo or a memory we missed
- Approve, and we start making it
Two ways to tell it.
Same story, same process, same people. Only the look of the film changes.
There is always a person on the other side.
From the first interview to the finished film, one of us is looking after your story. Ask what to say in your interview, who else to invite, what usually works. Write to us in the app and you get a person, not a form.
Talk to us first →Before you ask.
- How long does the whole thing take?
- Two to three weeks, most of it waiting on interviews. If your date is close, tell us and we will say honestly whether we can make it.
- Who should we invite to speak?
- Up to eight people besides the two of you. The ones who were there at the beginning are usually better than the ones who are closest now: the friend who set you up, the sister who heard every phone call.
- What if we don’t like the storyboard?
- That is what it is for. Nothing gets made until you approve it, and your notes are how the story finds the shape you like.
- Do our people need the app?
- No. They get contacted over WhatsApp, answer in their own time, and can send photos, videos and voice notes the way they already do from their phone.
- Is it only for weddings?
- Most films are made for a wedding, but an anniversary or a birthday works the same way.
